Pizza Twists

Recipe Ingredients:

1/4lbssliced pepperoni, finely chopped
2ozprovolone cheese, finely chopped
1/4cupsliced ripe olives
3Tbspshredded parmesan cheese
2Tbspfinely chopped green onion
1 1/2tsporegano leaves
1/2tspgarlic powder
2can(13.8oz each) refrigerated pizza crust
1 2/3cuppizza sauce, heated

Recipe Instructions:

1.   Preheat oven to 375F. Blend pepperoni, provolone, olives, parmesan cheese, green onion, oregano, and garlic powder in medium bowl. Set aside.
2.   On lightly floured surface, roll 1 piece of the pizza dough to 15x9-inch rectangle. Spread pepperoni mixture evenly over dough; press lightly. Roll remaining dough to 15x9-inch rectangle; place over filling. Press lightly to compact filling.
3.   Cut crosswise in half. Cut lengthwise into 1-inch pieces (total of 28 strips). Carefully twist each strip 6 to 7 times to form tight spirals; pinch ends to seal.
4.   Place on large cookie sheet sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Bake 12 to 14 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with warm pizza sauce.

Yield: 28 servings
