Hawaiian Pizza Stuffed Loaf
Recipe Ingredients:
2 | pkg | (10.6-oz) refrigerated Italian breadsticks |
2/3 | cup | marinara sauce or pizza sauce |
4 | oz | thinly sliced deli ham |
1 | can | (8-oz) pineapple tidbits, well drained |
1/4 | cup | chopped green bell pepper |
4 | oz | thinly sliced mozzarella cheese |
Recipe Instructions:
1. | Preheat oven to 375F. Lightly coat a large baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray. Unroll one pkg of dough. Divide along center perforations. Place dough pieces beside each other on one end of prepared baking sheet, forming a 12x7-inch rectangle with 10 parallel strips. Press perforations together. Repeat on other end of baking sheet with remaining dough. Reserve parmesan sauce. |
2. | Lengthwise spread marinara or pizza sauce in 3-inch-wide strip down center of each dough rectangle. Layer ham, pineapple, bell pepper and cheese over sauce. |
3. | Cut dough on perforation lines up to filling. Fold strips of dough over filling, stretching as necessary. Press edges together. Use spoon to dot parmesan sauce from pkg on top of each loaf. |
4. | Bake for 18 to 22 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand for 10 minutes. Crosswise cut into slices to serve. |
