Southern Salted Pecans
An addictive alternative to potato chips!Recipe Ingredients:
whole pecans | ||
stick butter | ||
salt |
Recipe Instructions:
1. | Cut a few chunks of butter (enough to coat however many pecans you're cooking) into skillet and melt over low heat. |
2. | Add pecans to skillet; turn them constantly to coat & keep from burning on bottom. Once thoroughly coated, add salt to taste and mix well. |
3. | Pour pecans onto large shallow baking pan; spread in a thin layer. Bake at about 200F for about an hour or until crisp, being sure to turn them every 15 minutes until done. |
