Recipe Ingredients:

2cupbrown sugar, firmly packed
1cupcream (20%) or evaporated milk
2Tbsplight corn syrup
1tspvanilla extract
1/2cupchopped nuts

Recipe Instructions:

1.   Combine first 5 ingredients in saucepan... Stir over medium heat to dissolve sugar. Cook to 234 degrees or until a little dropped in cold water forms a soft ball. Stir occasionally.
2.   Remove from heat. Add the 2 Tbl butter. Let stand without stirring until bottom of pan is luke warm. (120 degrees).
3.   Add the 1 tsp vanilla. Beat until creamy. Mix in the 1/2 cup chopped nuts.
4.   Pour into greased 8 or 9" square pan. Cool at room temperature. Cut into squares. Makes 36 (1 1/2") pieces.
