Peanut Twist Brownies

Recipe Ingredients:

1 1/4cupall purpose flour
1tspbaking powder
1cupunsalted butter, melted
1 1/2cupsugar
2tspvanilla extract
1/4cuppeanut butter
1cupmilk chocolate chips
1/4cupunsweetened cocoa powder
1cupsalted peanuts

Recipe Instructions:

1.   Preheat oven to 350F. Grease a 13x9 baking pan with nonstick cooking spray. In medium bowl, using wire whisk, stir together flour, baking powder, and salt; set aside.
2.   In a large bowl, with a wire whisk, mix together melted butter, sugar and vanilla. Beat eggs, one at a time. Using a wooden spoon, stir in flour mixture until well blended.
3.   Separate half the batter (about 1 1/2 cups) to medium bowl. Mix in peanut butter. Stir in chocolate chips and spread batter evenly in pan.
4.   Add cocoa powder to remaining batter; mix well. Stir in peanuts. Spoon chocolate batter over peanut butter layer and smooth top gently.
5.   Bake 25 to 30 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool in pan on wire rack. Cut into 24 squares.
