Dessert: Mince Apple Pie -

Mince Apple Pie

Recipe Ingredients:

19-inch unbaked pastry shell
2cooking apples, pared and sliced
6Tbspunsifted flour
1jar(28oz) mince meat
1/4cupfirmly packed light brown sugar
2tspground cinnamon
2Tbspmargarine or butter
1/4cupchopped nuts

Recipe Instructions:

1.   Preheat oven to 425F. Toss apples with 2 Tbl flour; arrange in pastry shell. Top with mince meat.
2.   In small bowl, combine remaining flour, sugar, and cinnamon; cut in margarine until crumbly. Mix in nuts. Sprinkle over mince meat.
3.   Bake 10 minutes; reduce oven temperature to 350F and continue baking 25 to 30 minutes or until browned. Serve warm or cold with vanilla ice cream if desired.
