Creamy Lemon Meringue Pie

Recipe Ingredients:

18 or 9-inch baked pastry shell, cooled OR
1graham cracker crumb crust
3eggs, separated
1can(14oz) sweetened condensed milk
1/2cuplemon juice
1/4tspcream of tartar

Recipe Instructions:

1.   Preheat oven to 350F. In medium bowl, beat egg yolks; stir in sweetened condensed milk and lemon juice. Turn into prepared shell.
2.   In small bowl, beat egg whites with cream of tartar until soft peaks form; gradually add sugar, beating until stiff but not dry. Spread meringue on top of pie, sealing carefully to edge of shell. Bake 15 minutes or until meringue is golden brown. Cool. Chill before serving. Refrigerate leftovers.
