Glazed Ham

Recipe Ingredients:

1(4 lb) fully cooked, boneless ham half
1/3cupfirmly packed light brown sugar
1/3cuporange juice or bourbon
peel of one orange, grated
1/4tspground allspice
1/8tspground cloves

Recipe Instructions:

1.   Preheat oven to 325F. Place ham on a rack in a roasting pan. Insert a meat thermometer into the thickest part of the ham. Bake, uncovered, 20 minutes per pound or until the internal temperature reaches 125F.
2.   For glaze, in small saucepan over medium-low heat, simmer brown sugar, orange juice, orange peel, allspice, and cloves for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
3.   Brush glaze over ham. Bake ham for 20 to 30 minutes more or until thermometer reaches 135F. Let stand for 15 minutes before carving. (The temperature will rise 5 degrees during standing.)
